Rental Karting Rules

Attraction is not recommended for guests with the following conditions: pregnancy, neck problems, back problems, heart problems, seizures, recent surgery, or any history of physical conditions that may be aggravated by this attraction.

**NOTIFY ATTENDANT OF ANY INJURIES SUSTAINED ON THE COURSE BEFORE LEAVING THE AREA **

Music City Kartplex has a strict zero tolerance policy regarding alcohol and/or drug abuse. Anyone who appears to be under the influence will not be permitted to race.

All drivers are required to sign a liability waver. Participants under the age of 18 yeras old require a parent or legal guardian’s signature. Proof of age will be required at checkin-in.

Drivers must have the ability to operate their karts in a safe manner.

You may be held liable for any damage to the karts or injury to others caused by reckless or careless operation.

Karting is a non-contact sport. We do not tolerate any bumping or blocking of go karts. If you are seen hitting another kart or barrier system, intentionally or not, it may result in the immediate loss of driving privileges and forfeiture of any fees paid. We do not give refunds for reckless driving.

All racers must wear closed toe shoes with no heel and long hair must be pulled back into a ponytail. Do not race with loose items or loose clothing. Racing with such items may cause injuries.

When there is an accident or someone out on the track, watch for the yellow lights and we will wave the yellow flag. Your kart will be slowed down from our control center for safety reasons.

Drivers must wear approved helmets and hygienic liners. If a driver provides his or her own helmet, the liner is not required. Please obtain your approval of your helmet from the track attendants before driving.

We understand that there are different levels of drivers on the track at one time and we ask that slower drivers please move over for faster drivers to allow them to pass. We would like everyone to be able to enjoy their karting experience.

Please keep hands on steering wheel and feet in kart at all times. Drivers must remain seated and strapped in wit safety restraints in the kart until instructed by track attendants.

The gas pedal is on the right and the brake is on the left. Do not push both at the same time. Doing so will affect the kart’s performance and speed.

Those with health concerns related to, but not limited to the following should refrain from driving: heart conditions, head, neck or back conditions, nervous disorder, seizures, pregnancy, recent surgery.
