Get ready for our 4-Hour Rental Kart Endurance Series at Music City Kartplex! Team up with your friends for four epic races that are four hours each. You'll have to prove you have what it takes to dominate the track.

Important: All racers must pre-register, and registration is first come, first served.
Teams must consist of 1-4 racers.
Race Overview
- Format: Teams of 1-4 racers compete in a 4 hour race.
- Minimum 4 Pit Stops
- LeMans-style Start: After qualifying, drivers run to karts.
- 2 Weight Classes:
- Lightweight Class: 180 lbs minimum (per driver)
- Heavyweight Class: 220 lbs minimum (per driver)
- Ballast provided – up to 40 lbs available
Weight Classes
Lightweight Division
Driver must weigh 180+ pounds on the MCKplex scale, including gear and ballast weight as necessary
Heavyweight Division
Driver must weigh 220+ pounds on the MCKplex scale, including gear and ballast weight as necessary.
Up to 40 pounds of ballast weight is available at the track as necessary.
Penalty added for every pound under the class minimum, a 3-lap penalty will be applied.
Race Day Details
8:00 AM: Registration Opens
8:30 AM: Driver’s Meeting (Mandatory)
8:45 AM: Qualifying
9:00 AM: Race Begins (4 Hours)
1:00 PM: Checkered Flag
1:30 PM: Podiums
Race Format & Rules
- Qualifying (10 minutes):
- Each team has 1–4 drivers.
- One driver must complete qualifying, and that driver must start the race.
- Qualifying position determines starting grid (fastest lap = pole).
- No hot pit during qualifying; drivers must remain on track until the checkered flag.
- The driver who qualifies must start the race.
- Endurance Race (4 Hours):
- Teams rotate drivers throughout the event
- Minimum of 4 pit stops per team
- Each stop must include a driver change
- Final pit stop required on checkered flag (all karts must enter pits at race end)
- Pits will be closed for the first ten minutes of the race and last ten minutes.
- Penalties (Based on NKA Guidelines):
- Jump Start: 1-lap penalty.
- Avoidable Contact: 1-lap penalty.
- Pit Lane Speeding: 1-lap penalty.
- Failure to Complete 4 Stops: 10-lap penalty.
- Unsafe Driver Change: 1-lap penalty.
- Failure Stop box penalty: 1 Lap penalty
- Driver Changes & Pit Stops:
- Driver changes are only allowed in pit lane.
- Teams must manage stints strategically to minimize time lost.
- No fueling (rental karts provided with full tanks).
- If a kart runs out of fuel on track:
- No additional laps will be credited.
- Driver must wait until staff can safely refuel them.
- If a mechanical issue occurs:
- Laps will be added back based on the team’s last completed lap time to ensure the team resumes on the same lap they left off.
- Teams may not tamper with karts outside of official adjustments allowed by staff.
- Pit lane will be closed for the first ten minutes of the race, and the last ten minutes of the race.
- Pit Stop Procedure:
- STOP AT STOP BOX!!!
- Entry: Enter pit lane at reduced speed.
- Driver Change: Driver must fully exit kart before new driver enters.
- Exit: Kart must rejoin track safely at pit lane exit.
Championship Format
- 4 Races, 4 Hours each
- Winner is the team with the most laps completed after 6 hours
- In case of a tie, position is determined by who crosses start/finish line first
- Grid positions based on qualifying results
