Start on a rental kart
Solo Arrive & Drive requires age 12 or older and at least 58 inches in height. Rental competition has separate age and class rules. Review the linked requirements before choosing a league or championship.
Three Starting Points
Age 12, No Kart
Start with casual rentals only if the driver also meets the 58-inch height requirement. The R&R rental championship starts at 16; a casual rental answer is not competition eligibility.
Age 5, No Kart
Solo rentals are not the next step. Ask about the junior owner pathway or the two-seat passenger option, which requires at least 42 inches and an experienced driver.
Age 15, Own A Kart
Junior and Senior options can overlap. Compare the engine, age window and minimum weight for each eligible class before entering. The finder narrows the choices; class rules and inspection determine entry.
