Birthday Parties

A Birthday They
Actually Remember.

Make the birthday a race day on our half-mile outdoor track in Shelbyville. Adult crews and eligible younger drivers can choose timed rental sessions or a coordinated Sprint or Grand Prix event. Solo rental drivers must be at least 12 and 58 inches tall. Tell us who plans to drive and who is coming to celebrate so the day fits the whole party.

Why Race It Here

WHY MCK.

First place. The cap stays on.
First place. The cap stays on.
  1. 1

A Party That Fits The Drivers

Check age and height before inviting guests to drive: both 12 years and 58 inches are required for solo rentals. Passengers at least 42 inches tall can ask about a two-seater with an experienced driver, subject to availability.

  2. 2

Adult Birthdays With A Race To Settle

Keep it simple with individual rental races, or choose the structured Sprint or Grand Prix format for a coordinated event. No rental membership is required.

  3. 3

Make Room For The Whole Party

Spectators are welcome. Include non-driving guests in your planning conversation, and ask about optional private space for cake, food and presents between sessions.

  4. 4

    Podium, Photos And Optional Trophies

Coordinated race formats include a podium moment. Custom trophies and a photographer are optional services to request with the estimate.

  5. 5

    The Organizer Sets The Details

Share driver eligibility, guest counts and food plans. Arrange parent or legal guardian waivers for drivers under 18, and confirm who will supervise younger guests away from the track. Room rental, food and decorations are separate planning choices.

Sample Event Agenda

START TO PODIUM.

1
Check In Together

Plan to arrive 30 minutes before racing unless your coordinator specifies a different event arrival time. Finish waivers, fit helmets and neck braces, and attend the safety briefing.

2
Learn The Circuit

Sprint includes practice or qualifying. Grand Prix includes both. Staff explain flags and on-track conduct before drivers head out.

3
Race For The Result

The coordinated formats finish with a 12-lap race and posted lap times. The coordinator plans the sessions around the eligible drivers and available karts.

4
Celebrate Your Way

Add time for cake, presents and photos if arranged in your event plan. Private space, catering, trophies and photography are optional; confirm each selection and charge.

Every Format

Birthday Parties Questions

How many drivers do we need?

Sprint and Grand Prix group packages start at 12 guests on weekdays and 15 on weekends. Smaller crews can book individual rental races. If a smaller party wants a room or coordinated format, contact the events team to confirm suitability and minimum billing before relying on an estimate.

What are the age, height and waiver rules?

Solo rental drivers must be at least 12 years old and 58 inches tall. A parent or legal guardian signs the waiver for anyone under 18. A passenger at least 42 inches tall can ask about the two-seater with an experienced driver. Do not promise solo rental driving to younger children; ask about the separately arranged junior options.

Can spectators and younger siblings come?

Spectators are welcome. Tell the coordinator how many guests will not race and discuss supervision for younger guests. Public race-day admission rules are separate from an ordinary birthday outing; check the calendar before choosing a date.

Can we bring cake, food and decorations?

Yes, cake and decorations can be arranged for your party space, and outside catering is welcome. Bring your own paper goods and utensils. No alcohol is permitted. Confirm space, setup and cleanup arrangements with the coordinator; room rental and coordinated catering are optional charges.

Does a birthday package include a private room?

The private room is optional and charged separately when selected. Selecting it in the builder does not reserve it. Your coordinator confirms availability, the final package and payment terms. Only payment holds a date.

How far ahead should we plan?

Coordinated events and private-room requests require at least 15 days notice. Ordinary rental outings use available times in the booking schedule. Share your final event headcount at least 48 hours ahead and confirm the arrival time with the coordinator.
