Winter Jam Grand Prix Recap: Racing, Music, and the R&R Banquet

Music City Kartplex facility during an evening event

On January 10, 2026, the Winter Jam Grand Prix took over Music City Kartplex for a single-night special: full-throttle competition, live music, food trucks, and cash prizes under the lights.

The same card doubled as the Rhythm & Race Championship Series awards banquet, so the season's champions and the evening atmosphere shared one night on the property.

What Made The Format Different

Winter Jam was built as an evening atmosphere event rather than a standard daytime championship round. Prize money was on the line, the parking lot ran as a block-party zone with food trucks and live music, and the racing sat at the center of a longer social night.

It was the first time MCK tested that full-evening mix at scale. The night ran long enough that the only clear follow-up note from the track was a second night would have been welcome.

What Comes Next

Special formats like Winter Jam sit alongside the 10-round Rhythm & Race calendar, Iron Man nights, oval races, and team enduros. Check the events hub and calendar for the next one-off on the board.
