Next Gen Karting Academy Returns July 20-22

Next Gen Karting Academy is back on the Music City Kartplex calendar for July 20 through 22, 2026. The three-day block is built for junior drivers who want structured track time, coaching, and a real outdoor circuit instead of a one-off rental session.

Academies sit alongside Arrive & Drive, junior league nights, and the Rhythm & Race junior classes as part of the same pathway: learn the track, build habits, then race for points when ready.

Who It Is For

Families looking at competitive karting for a young driver, or juniors who already rent and want more deliberate practice, are the core audience. Exact age windows and session structure live on the academy event page and update with each block.

If your driver is new to MCK, an Arrive & Drive session before academy week is still the simplest way to learn the layout and the briefing rhythm.

What Comes After

Junior Fast Track league nights and the Rhythm & Race junior classes are the natural next steps once an academy block is done. Round 5 of the championship, the season's only night race, lands July 25 for anyone ready to watch or race under the lights.
