Our New Website Is Live: What Changed at Music City Kartplex

If you have been to Music City Kartplex, you already know what we care about: real outdoor asphalt, real karts, and a place that feels like a race track, not an arcade. That is the same bar I set for our new website.
musiccitykartplex.com is live on a full rebuild. Old pages still resolve where they should. The point of this site is simple: help you get here, know what you are walking into, and get on track without a scavenger hunt.
What you can do on the site today
We run a half-mile outdoor circuit on Hwy 231 North in Shelbyville, about an hour south of Nashville. Italian CRG rental karts, leagues, special formats, and the Rhythm and Race Championship Series for owners. The new site puts those paths up front.
Want seat time without owning a kart? Start with Arrive and Drive. Packages, what to expect, and how a session works are all there.
Bringing a company, birthday crew, or private group? Go to Group Events. That is the page built for planners who need a clear offer, not a brochure.
First visit? Read Plan Your Visit for hours, directions, drive times from Middle Tennessee, and what to bring. Helmet and neck brace are provided. Head sock is required and sold at the counter. Bring gloves or buy them in the Pro Shop.
Kart owners racing with us: the Rhythm and Race Championship Series page has the season structure and registration path. Leagues and special formats live under Racing on the site as well.
Why we rebuilt it
The old site got us open. This one has to carry the track the way we actually operate. Outdoor competitive karting in Tennessee is still a niche. A lot of people searching for go karts near Nashville land on indoor electric places or directory sites that never set foot on our asphalt. We wanted pages that tell the truth about this facility: outdoor, gas karts, race formats, and a real ladder from rental to owner.
That is also why you will find a karting knowledge hub, class pages, town pages for Middle Tennessee, and a deep FAQ. Those are not filler. They are the questions we answer at the front counter every week.
Common questions in one place: Frequently Asked Questions.
What is coming next
A website like this is not done the day it ships. Here is what we are putting on it next, in plain language.
Race weekend recaps and track news will live in this News section so results and announcements have a home instead of disappearing into social feeds. We are tightening spectator and race-day information so families and fans know how to watch a round without guessing. More education around engines, classes, and formats will keep landing for drivers who are moving up the ladder. And the booking and account side will keep getting smarter as we wire more of the day-to-day track operations into the site.
If something on the site is wrong or unclear, tell us. We would rather fix it than leave you guessing before a two-hour drive.
How to find us
Music City Kartplex, 3225 Hwy 231 N, Shelbyville, TN 37160. Phone: (931) 437-3225. We are an outdoor facility, so check the calendar and hours before you roll. Weather is part of the sport here. Rain does not always shut us down the way people expect.
See what is on the schedule: Calendar.
Questions that are not covered online: Contact. Or call the track.
Thanks for following along while we build this place. See you on the grid.
