What A Transponder Does
A transponder is a small transmitter mounted on the kart. Each time you cross the timing loop in the track, the system records a pass. String those passes together and you get lap times to the millisecond.
No handheld stopwatches. No arguing about who was ahead at the line. The loop does not care about paddock politics. It cares about when the transponder crossed.
