GO-KARTING NEAR
MURFREESBORO.
Turn a Murfreesboro afternoon into outdoor track time in Shelbyville. Follow the US 231 corridor to Music City Kartplex for rental karting, a birthday crew or a first look at organized racing. You can rent a kart without owning equipment or joining a membership.
WORTH THE DRIVE.
For a family outing, check each driver's age and height before selecting karts: solo rentals require age 12 and 58 inches. A passenger at least 42 inches can ask about the two-seater with an experienced driver. Spectators can come along; championship race-day admission is a separate policy.
For regular visits from Murfreesboro, start with the current rental schedule. Race days and other track events can change availability. If timed rental sessions leave you wanting more competition, explore the rental leagues or Rhythm & Race series using their own eligibility and event rules.
US 231 connects Murfreesboro with Shelbyville. Head south toward the track at 3225 Hwy. 231 North, and check live directions from your neighborhood before setting off.

Can a small group book ordinary rental races?
Yes. Ordinary rental karting does not require the 12 weekday or 15 weekend minimum used for the applicable coordinated group packages. Compare rental packages and choose a session with enough available karts; allow 30 minutes for check-in.
Can we plan a birthday or try competitive racing?
Use the birthday page for driver requirements, optional room and food arrangements. For competition, see the rental league or series details. Casual rentals and championship entry have different eligibility rules, so choose the right path before booking.
